Intuition power wrap liners seem really hard

I got some power wrap liners off of ebay, and they seem very hard, is it just because they are new, or is this how they are?

Yeah they are firm. Firm = better control / energy transmission. Go get them heat molded and enjoy your newfound ski control.

They aren't meant to be soft and plush. Plush liners are for new and casual skiers. Skiers looking for actual performance want something a little more firm that transfers energy more efficiently. Get them molded. They will feel great.

I already get shinbang wont the liners being hard make it worse?

The firmness of of the liner may work in your favor since you are less likely to feel the hard plastic edge of your boot cuff. That's one of the best things about the intuition powerwrap, it's so beefy it will protect your feet from your shell more than a soft liner where you can sometimes feel the cuff bolts and other imperfections right through it. Shin bang can be a result of your boots not fitting well causing you to backseat because you feel out of control, if the intuitions increase your control enough then you may see a decrease in shin bang.

You guys have some great insite and advice, also i would like to add, i do not tend to ride backseat, i only go backseat on bad landings when trying new tricks, or screwing up, and saving myself on rail tricks.
