Intuition Liners

Hi guys,

Recently got into a par of Solomon quest max 120's in a 25. Absolutely love them. I'm coming from a pair of FT first chairs in a 26.5. Thought I might try putting the intution liners into the Solomons and see how it goes. Does anybody have any experience using a full tilt overlap liner in a boot that normally uses a tongued liner? My main concern is changing the flex, and shin pressure. The liner fits pretty well, only scrunched a little bit.

So, 2 main questions.

Anybody ever use an overlap liner in a boot that normally uses a tongue?

Will the 26.5 liner in a 25 shell suck?

If it doesn't work, I'm fine, the solomon liner is great. Just thought I'd try cause I have the liners until I sell the full tilts.

Thanks!

The powerwrap liner will fit fine in the shell normally, but a size and a half off seems pretty extreme. If you just bought $550 boots I don't know why you'd be interested in throwing in a well used liner immediately. The stock liner should feel pretty good for a while, I'd throw some good days on that first.

The stock liner feels great, I just was wondering how the overlap works in a traditional boot. And the intuitions only have half of a season on them, and in the solomons, have more heel hold than the stock liner, which I didn't think was possible. The first chairs couldn't get the heel hold I wanted because of the shell size.

I have a full tilt intuition liner in my salomon quest 120's and love

it. It fits fine, and feels much better than the original quest liner.

It's also much easier to slip in and out of the shell to dry. A 26.5 liner in

a 25 shell might be tight, but it is also a higher volume shell than the full tilt. So if you have some room, it might be worth a shot.

Quick update. The liner is a little too big. Gets pretty bunched. Least I know now.

Might look into getting a 25 liner for next season though. Cause why not.
