Intro For Promo???????

I'm Making a promo but im wondering what should I have for a intro ....like should it be funny or serious or what///tell me some tips and other things i should have in my promo thanks alot!!!

b) be yourself, if you think you need an intro, do one up... I say choreograph some sweet dance moves.

Well you could have a small intro like showing your name and maybe having a few goofy ski shots, and/or lifestyle and timelapse shots. I think it's cool to have a a few little shots before the skiing starts if you are making a good edit, but also if it's a promo you don't want to take up too much time with other extraneous shots. Also, if you are doing a good job editing to the song, as the song is kinda doin a little intro, (if it has one before it really gets going) throw a few intro shots in then.

intros and lifestyles are gay, i guess they're kind of needed in some situations as filler but if you're making a promo to send to a company no team manager is going to care about your intro...

dont even do an intro, im pretty sure companies could give less of a crap weather or not your good at editing. You just have to stand out in your skiing.

yea and if hes notttt super pro at skiing, the editing can pull just some ok shots together and make for a sick promo.

some people hated on slandis's promo 'like he only did up to a 540' and shit but look at him now.

some how write your name in a creative way. like write your name in the snow and time lapse that or like try to make letters out of some ski poles or skis and have the pictures come up then go down to make your name. but yeah nothing huge but just your name.

editing is the only thing companies will notice. if the video is well edited, it will stick out more than other. since they have so many videos to watch and pretty much all of them are going to be good, im pretty sure editing is a big deal when it comes to promos
