So after reading for about 30 minutes I cant figure this out.

I am traveling to Agrentina and wondering how do I go about a phone.

Do I just buy a prepaid one down there? use it locally and a calling card to call the us?

I have also read about unlocking phones to GSM and getting an internaional sim card.

Does anyone else know about this?

I am confused.
 
buy an unlocked quad band phone on craigslist. then when you get to wherever you're going, just buy a prepaid sim card.
