That article has to be outdated because most womens skis epsecially in the groomer on piste catagorey are specifically engineered for women.

by moving the bindings forward, do they mean just closer to center, or actually forward of center? also, how would that affect their powder skiing ability? seems to me, that they would instantly lose float if you took a ski mounted like this into the powder...

this has all been common knowledge in any reputable ski shop for a while now. she actually came into the shop i work at for a weekend to work with us on all that stuff, specifically the bootfitting aspect. she knows her stuff, and aside from glen plake, i've never met someone as completely stoked on skiing as she is.

the article wasnt just focused on binding placement, there is obviously many solutions and now technology that makes this a different situation. just some interesting stuff, like the hips and the wider pelvis i found interesting
