Insurance question....

If i drive my parents car and my name isnt under it is it considered to be driving without insurance? Couldn't i just say i was borrowing their car so it would be like if a friend borrowed your car and drove it around? I live in Ontario by the way.

It depends on your insurance plan, but with most plans yes you would technically be driving uninsured. However, even if you got in an accident theres a good chance it would be fine. You would just need to lie to your insurance company.
