Instant respect for Finnish people

that was so fucking cool. Must be so confusing though working upside down on the ice under water.

Why would you respect other people because they happen to be born within the same arbitrary lines drawn on a map as the people in the video?

Because I'm 'murican and I like to make broad generalizations and stereotypes about other cultures based on small samples I find on the internet / spread stereotypes about Americans over the internet.

i'm so confused. what exactly are they doing, fishing for air? and they just threw a wheel barrow into the ocean, what the fuck?

it took me half the video to figure out that that was air and that they were upside down.

mind=blownfucked

i actually didnt figure it out until i read further down the thread...

my mind was fully fucked for the duration of the video

If people still don't get it, their creating an illusion where the air appears to be acting like water. It's floating towards the surface of the lake, but it looks like its being poured down. Their oxygen tanks are keeping them floating against the underside of the ice.

how are they staying in the same place so perfectly without trying though? they have to have some kind of airbags that are pushing them up towards the suface because im pretty sure they should be sinking

They probably do, I think the tank is their main for of buoyancy. I think they have other things to make sure they stay balanced, I also think they might be wearing shoes with cleats because they have excellent traction.

i rewatched this and it was was sicker but i realized they fucking dropped a wheelbarrow into the ocean

1. what did i just watch2. finnish people are chill as fuck. they make sick metal, and realski FI sent me a copy of winter of wells documentery just cause i posted a funny comment on their facebook
