Instagram is absolutely wank these days. The constant adverts which fill up half your feed, inexplicable algorithms and the new retarded 'recommended posts' section has completely ruined it. Fuck you Facebook for destroying it.

Probably gonna delete it once this season ends, only reason I use it is for skiing inspiration
 
To add, I’m finding that good memes are getting harder and harder to find because your “savagebro” or “nochillbruh” type accounts with their “bruh who did this XDDD” memes just are’t funny anymore and they are the most popular, guess I’m just too normie

Agree with OP tho. The majority of content comes from a few people. You can feel FB trying to squeeze more profits out of it with every update. Can't blame them really. What's the next app?
 
same with snapchat, i cant fucking stand the app how it operates anymore so I just deleted it.
 
The insta algorithm is fucked. I can’t even get to peoples posts who I actually know without going direct to their profile. I want chronological back.

Oh btw they’re doing this cool thing where if 10% or your audience doesn’t automatically respond when you post something, they hide it from the other 90%
 
Chronological order just makes so much more sense. If I wanted to "catch up" on what happened 3 days ago I would've hopped on instagram 3 days ago.

The people I follow that post a shit load of content are now what dominate my feed (whether it's from 4 days ago or 12 hours ago) and posts from friends just don't show up.

Yeah facebook has been shit about that for years. You get all this stuff from 4 days ago. And it's like facebook, I either already know or I don't give a fuck. It's especially fun when it's things that are no longer relevant.

Luckily my insta is nothing but skiiing/snowboarding and park building. I was pissed at facebook so I set up my insta like that so I can see stuff that's worth seeing.

Word, there should just be an option in settings that can change between chronological and relevance
