insoles

hey quick question..i have totally flat feet, so for my shoes i have custom insoles. I decided that i wanted to put them im my ski boots. The only thing is, compared to the original sole in the boot, the customs are like 1/2 inch taller than the originals making my foot on a incline from the back to the front. Is this bad or would it effect me in anyway?

Dumb and Dumber

Seeing as the custom insoles that they sell specifically for skiing have about .5inch arches in them, I think its ok. When I was buying my boots earlier this year the guy told me to try these custom insoles, he popped em in and my boots felt so much better. I was concerned that it had a wicked arch to it and was about to ask here but they are made for ski boots so they cant be to bad. I also switched back my old insoles to see the difference and it was like going from a bed with down sheets to a cot. Ive also been skiing on them for quite a while now and I dont think anything detrimental is going on.
