Insoles in Ski boots

I've just picked up some Rossignol Track 110 boots, I'm just curious what's the deal with insoles? I have some insoles for normal shoes to help with flat feet, I just wondered if I could put them straight in my boots or if it's recommended to get some custom fit ones made up from my boot fitters?

Definitely a good idea in general, but you will want some that are specifically made for your ski boots and for skiing. The ones you have are probably too long to fit in your ski boots and not supportive enough for the needs of skiing.

I have always bought superfeet, and you cut them to fit your boot. So you pull the one that comes with the boot and trace it onto your superfeet blank then cut it out with scissors. Works great.

I think they even make some with wool insulation if your feet are getting too cold.

This, the insoles for your shoes probably are a different shape then for your ski boots anyway and wouldent quite fit properly/feel right in your ski boots.
