Inside Combat Rescue - National Geographic

Its a kickass show. I have a friend who is about to leave for Inoc for pjs, he has been training for years, and absolutely loves the show.

Im surprised they dont talk about how tough the training is. PJ indoctrination (think navy seal BUDS) has the highest washout rate of any school in the military, usually over 90%. And thats just the first part of the training. The training pipeline is over 2 years long. crazy

It's crazy. And yeah, their training is fucking stupid man, ridiculously hard.

FLUTTER KICKS FO DAYZZ

crazy kick ass show. I talk to PJ's all the time on my base, and they are some of the most down to earth guys you will ever meet in your life. You would think that them knowing how badass they are they would be so cocky and arrogant but that is not the case. Coolest guys you could meet, and I would want nobody else fighting on my side.

And speaking of the training, and why they don't talk about the training, Discovery put out surviving the cut so we all have had the chance to know about their training. This series is to express the hardships they go through every damn day physically and even more so mentally. It sucks being in Afghanistan, away from your family, having rockets shot at you. Shit takes a toll on your head, and this series is doing a damn fine job and explaining that.

That's a good point. They really elaborate that point by showing the skype messages and stuff too, and showing their downtime at base.

I think they did well in Retrepo too, showing how his death impacted the battalion

the show is awesome. its so raw and captures the emotions they go through (the best you can through tv)
