INSANE cool entertaining playstation game!!! you know it?

i need help, my memory fails again.. i remember a few years back i tried a demo for a game on ps2.. it was a war game, you was one guy, which you had control over, you could mount a horse or run, the deal with the game that it was a war. And you were one soldier of many, so you attacked the enemy, and used sword, axe, bow, spear mostly anything you could pick up! and there was elephants to!!!

Now i wanna play this game so bad!!! but i cant find the demo, and i dont remember the name! anyone knows it? i think it was highland warriors, but when i checked that the screenshots didnt look like it! i think "warriors" was a part of the name tough!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! theres nothing going on this weekend so i wanna chill out with a six pack and a cool game!
 
thank god!!! dynasty warriors it is!!! is anyone of the version available for pc? gonna serach the ass out of bearshare and torrent fucker now!!!
 
Dynasty Warriors is exremely addicting if you really wanna play it. I maxed out my guy in a matter of a month. Only thing I dont have perfect of is Defense
 
warcraft is to simple, settlers 4 is way better!!! instead of gather two resources, you have to gather stone, sulphur, iron, wood, clay and you gotta watch out for your settlers, so they pay you taxes
 
ahh sounds very similar to a board game i have called the settlers of catan. by far the best board game ever made i played about 30 games of it when i went on a camping trip with my friends family, and the games take 3-4 each.
