it’s been too quiet, I’ve had a couple close calls this year and did tweak up my knee pretty good, but it’s been 3 seasons without a substantial injury… and I’ve yet to get a major injury.

i’m scared

speed+slippery surfaces+ tricks+ terrain= why would you expect NOT to get hurt?

( Plus it'll happen walking to your car)

Apprehensive skiing is dangerous skiing. I had a couple near falls in routes that would have ended poorly last month. They all happened when I had a momentary lapse of confidence and became apprehensive. Don't be afraid to ski (assuming your ability fits the terrain). Of course some nerves are fine when pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, but don't let them consume you. That's when you'll get hurt.

I see that a lot too, whenever I see people fall is when they hold back. Just gotta point the tips forward and go
