Indoor Ski Resort being built 20 mins. from my house

In Riverhead, NY the plan was just passed today to make an indoor ski resort, waterpark, and sports complex on almost 800 acres of land... Unfortunetely it says the construction won't begin until 2010, and will most likely take like 10 yrs to build due to its size.... here's the artice:

idk, but where its being built (Eastern Long Island) the nearest mountain iz like 3 hours or more away, so i guess they figured Long Islanders might wanna ski without traveling..... jus a guess...
