4sho - the more skis sold - more possible problems with it.

Compared market share, rossi would have bigger piece of pie than LINE + ARMADA all together.

Aint speaking about armada or line durability, since havent used them, but for sure - Lib Techs are just for exposition in the shelf. Bought them new, and after 5 times they looked as they've had been shredding 5 years. Wouldn't buy it again. All good, but not durable. At all.

This, my volkl ledges stood up to 3 years of day in day out hitting rails still have no edge damage just ptex in the bases

I've been on my K2 Sights for 4 days thus far, they look trashed already. I've never seen a topsheet rip apart so easily.

rossi, nordica, and volkl, but honestly, as long as you stay away from the real shitty skis you're going to get pretty much the same lifespan out of any ski.

In my experience, I'm more likely to snap a ski than have it fall apart on me so durability doesn't really concern me. any ski will snap when subjected to too much force.

until Christmas when i got new skis i had been skiing my rossi scratch 05/06 and riped about 2 inches of edge out at the beginning of the season that is all that had gone wrong with them ever so would say rossi is pretty solid

Scott and head: fair enough. But there was this 4frnt "removable edge technology" thread about a pair of 4frnt skis with edges that came out of the ski, all the way around

durabilty icelantic skis, most durable skis i have ever had, least durable skis=k2 snapped two pairs in one season never again. problem for me is skis get way to dead before they even come close to falling apart for me any one else have this problem, skis losing pop and livelyness after about 1 month of skiing them

i bought a pair of rossignol bcs in like 2005 i skied park bumps and trees and pow with them til last year. i ended up selling them so they are still going strong. pretty impressive i think.

This this this, after 20 days of riding on these the bases look brand new in the edges are basically perfect. I can now happily say I'm an on3p fanatic.

broke my scott punisher jibs in under 30 days. lots of edges ripping out and then snapped the ski. pretty fun ski, but it didnt stand up to the test

On3p. After hitting some rocks and being careful, they were fine. I'm at a point where I trust the durability so much that I don't even fret about bad coverage. And I only have a few scratches on the base

I'm not sure if you've heard about this but there was a slight issue with durability of the suspects a couple year ago. something about delaming or edges tearing out, i dont know.

K2 has to get a mention. They're just... tough. 2 of my friends ride Obsetheds and they've pretty much just stopped caring about damage, their skis are old enough that cosmetically they're trashed but functionally they're still very much intact.

Fischer, K2, Volkl are what I have personally used that are very durable Line, Head, Salomon are what I have personally used that are not durableThat just goes for skis

IMHO, most ski companies have great durability if taken care of correctly. If you slam your shit on rails all day, you are gonna have problems, but at the same time, I teach everyday, and ski park/generally rip the crap out of my very soft line elizabeths, and they don't have edge cracks, delam, or rockered tails.

I generally avoid certain brands, or certain ski models, but it is more for design problems than durability. If you take care of your skis, tune them often enough, and don't abuse them, they will probably last you a few years. If you land backseat, and stomp the crap out of rails, you might do in within a month.

My Line Afterbangs refuse to die.

Before this I rode Rossi's and the whole edge eventually came off... I would advise against Rossi and Salomon.

Line for sure! i bought my ANthems off 123Ski and he rode the shit out of them for 3 years. i also ride the shit out of them. they are very duribal in myopnion.

LOL my Anthems bases are more wrecked after one day of groomers than my Heads were in 3+ years. Not complaining, I like the ski.

Head gets my vote, at least their older skis do. People used to run over Mad Trix/Mojos with pickup trucks just cause they could.

What do you define as "wrecked" and "groomers"

I have put about 200 days of pow, park, rocks, charging, and teaching into my Lizzies, and I have only ever needed one spot basewelded. No real gouges, no dry base, no edge damage.

Line makes a bomber base.
