In Trouble?

Ok so I'm making this thread because earlier today, my friend got busted with 7g of weed on him. We were 4, skating at the skatepark, while 2 of my friends decided to go sit somewhere to roll a blunt. Thats when a women parked with a car and came to the skatepark, she was dressed as a civilian. But she saw my 2 friends and pulled out a police badge out of her pocket. I couldn't ear the conversation but both my friend lifted their shirts and the women checked them to see if they had any other weed. As I saw this from a distance, I did not want to take any risk, I throwed my weed behind a tree farther from there. When I came back, 1 of my friend (the one that did not have anything on him) could leave the park, but the other one who had 7g had to go inside the car with her. They drove to his house, we followed the car but they entered my friend house to talk to his parents. After about 1 hour, the car and the woman leaves and I text my friend to know whats happening. He text me back saying the woman had a balance and said that if he had more than 5g, he would have to go to court. He had 7g so obviously the woman finds out with the balance and he is going in court I don't know when. My other friend did not have anything on him and did not even touch the weed or the blunt but the woman decided to call his parents wich will probably ruin the rest of his summer. I live in canada, and my friend is 16, do you think he is in trouble?
 
maybe a misdemeanor possession charge but nothing more serious. he didnt have a scale or anything so it wont be too bad at all
 
jesus, that really put a strain on the ol' noggin to get through that horribly written and almost incoherent story.

id assume if she said if its over 5g hes goin to court that hes in some kind of trouble
 
They just want him to go to court to tell him they herd he leikz mudkipz. Don't worry your friend is NOT in trouble.
 
im pretty sure 7g is the maximum amount that suggests recreational use under the law.anything over is considered intent to distribute.so he will probably get a misdemeanor and the cops will be more cautious of him.
i however am not an attourney or anything close but from some past experiences this is what ive come to learn in my area.

its canada u pretty much cant get in trouble for weed on ur first offence, quebec is probly differnt but my friend got caught with like 4 ounces and a scale and they took his phone cuz they knew he was dealing and he didnt even get probation or anything

thats bc tho
 
If you were to get busted with 7 grams in scotland, all you would get is a slap on the wrists and told to get on you're way, or maybe get a fine if the pig is on a power trip.

^ He knows how to speak english, he just made a few mistakes because he probably doesn't speak english/write in english all the time, its not a big deal.

and just because you're from quebec, it doesn't mean you're a seperatist.
