In Montreal the weekend of the 17th need bar suggestions

Hi kids and young adults such as myself. I come from the land of golden opportunity that is California(also the land budget problems), specifically San Francisco. I will be in Montreal next weekend and have never been. My job is sending me there for some training for a couple of days and I figured skiers know how to drink shitty beer which is what I like to do here in SF. My co worker (who also skis) and I will be staying near the University of Montreal. I've heard there is a street with all of bars that makes drinking fairly easy but would like first hand suggestions if at all possible. If any of you are down to kick it for a night let me know.

The streets you are talking about are probably st-denis, st-laurent or Ste-catherine.

and 17th isn't the IF3's weekend ?

If you want to drink really good beer and eat good food, there is '' les 3 brasseurs '' .

The only place I could really suggest you is Foufounes electriques, but it's on thursdays...
