In class doing a math problem with cheap ass skis

Idk if that's sarcasm or tru

It could very well be either

I don’t think it was sarcasm. It says pre-algebra on the top of the paper which is a middle school course. I took it in 6th grade though

Literally 80 bucks for a season (probably shit skis)

your equation in the lower right should be y=80x not 80+x. in this case, x is the variable for the quantity of seasons. if it is 80 dollars a season, you would need to multiply the number of seasons by the price.

You should answer "syntax error" because your dumb fuck teacher neglected to say how old Henry currently is and your "calculator didn't approve".

Or you could totally wow her and include a breakdown of at what age one would be cheaper than another. Maybe that's the point of this question?

Maybe I forgot how to read, but unless it tells you later on the page, you don’t know how old henry is and can’t find out which deal is better. Although that’s a steal on the rental cost, if he’s going to ski all season he might as well get something fun instead of whatever trash the stores give him.

Yeah, teacher is a dumb fuck. I asked why he didn’t include the age and he was like “it doesent matter, you can still finish the problem.” It’s not that hard.

You see how most of the shitty writing is in pencil? That’s me. Pen is teacher. teacher is stupid

the question just asks you to write down two linear equations

c(x) = 350

d(x) = 80x

are both linear equations
