Importing a Bike

Hello I am reaching out to anyone In the UK to help me get a frame from Chain Reaction. Anything helps, right now I can't find any bike shops to ship it or any parcel forwarders for under like $400 I have got quotes for a parcel forwarder for around $200 but I still don't understand if they take the package or you ship to them and then they ship to you. Also I tried bike flights from bike shops and its overpriced for no reason. Please help me get my Carbon nukeproof mega for $700, I will literally cry. If anyone is willing to ship it for me I will compensate you, although I'm also just looking for how to ship

Huh never thought of it but guess Nukeproof is harder to come by than Uk. Have to be a quarter of all bikes you see at real bike parks or spots are nukes

yea I've bought from this business a few times, I'm more worried about it getting damaged in shipping. And they ship frames to US but the price doubled in the US its 700 usd vs 1400+200 shipping

I mean fuck, they pack even acoustic guitars pretty well for shipping these days. Not saying shit doesnt happen but I haven't really heard of anyone getting a fucked up frame from a legit company outside of some really really bad shipping errors.

I get it though on saving money just make sure you're not sending anything to some random. Would suck to end up out the $$ and them have the bike and keep it. Sometimes a couple bucks for peace of mind or finding a more locally distributed thing is nice.

yea i will say one time i got a dhl package with a huge hole in it and the frame is carbon but its probably a rare occurrence. I think oldmanski has a good reputation, even shipping it separate would be cheaper than the price from the us. the frame and shock retail there for just over 3000.
