my ski is up to my forehead. im 5'7' and the skis are 169...b/c they are so big would it ruin my spins and 90s onto rails...and someone said since i have so much ski to handle that on rails/boxes while im in the grind...my tips will/might cross. IS THIS TRUE?

 
im 5'8'' and went from 158's to 174's last week and none of that is bothering me

you'll be fine unless you convince yourself otherwise. I'd consider mounting your bindings closer to the center of your ski tho

 
lol, yea i plan to center mount them with my old solomon s810s, but i gotta hve them bent tho...so o well, thanks

 
im riding 175, im 5'7' and im getting 179s for park, but i have a pair of 182 for freeridinng

you're fine, good size for a park ski for you height, maybe a bit short. but depending how you plan to use them will determine your mount. DON'T mount center if you plan to use them for a lot of freeriding, do if you just plan to be in the park

 
question: back in the day when skiers rode them 210cm skinny skis, were they more steezy than us because of that length?

no, but i think and many others think that bigger sticks look steazyer than shorter ones just makes you look smoother. why do u think that the pros ride huge skis. I also think that it is easer to land stuff with longer sticks

and thoes ballerina dudes have like really tiny sticks and like hella big poles
