Im thinking about moving to oregon for a while

basically im thinking about flying to portland and then staying with one of my friends who lives right at mt hood for a few weeks. i can stay with him until maybe august. im wondering if itll be possible to find a job and another place to stay within a few weeks?
 
well it matters where you're talkin. portland or surrounding area, i'm sure you could find some stuff on craigslist pretty easily. but if you want to live at mt. hood it seems like it might be harder.
 
i want to be as close to mt.hood as possible obviously. i wont have a car there so i probably need to find a job and a place to stay that are pretty close to eachother. anyone know of any nice towns that i should look into?
 
jea its super easy to hitch from govy there are alota kids here in the same boat... an a job at tline is the way to go free pass for everyday u work and there still hiring! where are u comin from?
 
im comin from new york. im gunna try to get a job washing dishes. i guess they still have some of those open
 
yea i have several friends that work in the dish pit and they said the same thing... its a chill job to alota times u dont work till afternoon so u have the whole morning to ride, and u get free meals!
 
Govy for sure. Your only other options would be Gresham or Sandy and those towns are halfway to portland. People hitch from govy all the time. We picked someone up the other day on our way up.
