Anybody ever done this sort of thing before. I get to choose where they go, when, and other stuff relating to the several ski trips the group goes on. Kinda stoked, since I'm pretty sure this also entitles me to a free bus ride there, and maybe (not sure) a free lift ticket. Either way, I'm stoked. It looks good for college too. There is only one other cool skier (my brother) on the trips, but still, i always have a good time. There's definitely a few things that need to be fixed too, does anybody know if you can get a mountain to mail the lift tickets beforehand, to streamline the process a little? I'll look into it at the ones we usually visit when winter comes...

Anybody have any similar experiences or stories?

I'm in Nj, we usually go to:

Hunter, which you all should have seen in Traveling Circus, It really is like that.

Bellayre, Don't know if that's how it's spelled.

Windham

Sometimes Mountain Creek.

Camelback.

I'm Gonna push for Blue Mountain though, last time i went they had fun groomers and i good park.

shit dude, i'm from creek. pm for an invite to the mountain creek cult. and also, most mountains, i know camelwhack does, will give huge group discounts, and can have the tickets ready for you as soon as you get there, will take like 5 minutes all up to get the tickets, hand them out and go skiing

SICK, im from nj myself and i have hit all those mountains. what town is your youth group from?

and to answer your question, im not sure but i dont think that mountains will send you the tickets ahead of time. for my high school trips they always get the tickets at the mountain and im guessing they would get them before hand it they could.

uhhhh no?

Bear Creek is good for a small mountain but having camelback who definately stepped their game up in the area is hands down the best. Camelback is easily the best park in the pocono's and in my opinion kills boulder.

yes, camelback did step it up this year, but i dont think they kill boulder. IMO boulder is the only mountain that truly takes advantage of all their space, putting features everywhere. whenever i skied camelback i always had a good time, i just felt they needed more features, or better ones. also, as far as setting everthing up, and jump building, no one beats boulder. but i think creek is where it's at for most park
