i just got airport extreme wireless internet for my house and I'm literally sitting on the toilet and listen to NS Radio at the same time. Ridiculous, i know...

Its weird though, my mom just made a phone call and for some reason the connection just cut out, am I picking up interference or was it just a coincidence?
 
if your connection cut out when your mom was on the phone its because wireless internet and phones use the same frequency. You can solve this by getting 5.8ghz phones.

He hit it right on, get new phones. You can get 5.8 ghz phones for not that expensive and they are still pretty nice.

You also may be able to go into the settins of your wireless internet and change them around a bit. I don't really know how apple works with that, but if you can go in and change the frequency either to the top or the bottom of the range and it has a pretty good chance of working.
 
yeah i did that back when i got wireless. it was seriously the first thing that came to my mind that I had to try.

Can't afford? My wireless setup costs more than that. I have an orinoco high gain antennae and can connect to my router up to 2 miles away. Idiot.
