I have the opportunity to go to Snowshoe, WV sometime in the next few weeks but have never been there and have heard nothing about the park there. Anyone know anything about the place? Any advice and knowledge would be great.

decent park and a real good mountain for that region. Has more verticle than most mountains in Vermont actually. But ask in regionals more people would know more on the specifics

any deltails of the park? and i would have posted in regionals but theres no section for West Virginia

I was there on the 9th and 10th. They are at the mercy of the weather like everyone else. Snowshoes weather is fickle. They can get huge dumps and also get rain in the mid winter. The park Builders are professionals and do a great job with what they have IMO - Message COOLJ on here, he just joined and works and runs the park events and knows what is up. In the meantime this video was from 2 weekends ago.

Yeah this should be in Regionals

word, i haven't been up there this year but papa nailed it as far as what it's like. i don't think they have really any "steep" runs or anything, most of their runs are pretty long for around that area though. also like he said you can get a huge dump, or rain there which kinda sucks sometimes...when i was there the park was pretty decent but that was last year so idk about this year...

They have 2 1500 vert runs that are pretty good. cupp run and shays revenge are steep, bumpy, and long.

Parks legit and a big wide mountain for the south.
