I'm never drinking this much again

I definitely dont at all but do most people not get hangovers when they are young and then develop them later?

Well some people still get them when they're younger. But for some reason as you get older they are more frequent and get worse.

I definitely used to barely get hungover no matter how much I drank. I drank 30 beers one night and remember getting up and hitting the diner, just a little slow. That was about 5 or 6 years ago.

I drank around 10 beers and had 3 shots of jameson yesterday (in the 105 degree heat index at a baseball game) and I feel like I have aids. It definitely catches up to you a little. I think there are other factors too. Like how often you drink. I didn't drink at all this week until last night, but when I was younger I drank 4 or 5 nights a week.

This made me lol.

I definitely drink regularly and this does not prevent my hangovers, but not everyone is the same, because I get the WORST headaches/migraines. If I stand up my head just pounds and pounds...it's the worst. Sometimes I throw up the next day, although this really only started about a year ago and it's rare.

My fiance, though, never gets the morning after headaches that I do. I'm really envious.

already posted my favorite, but since this thread is entertaining me, I'll post another great one...

Drinking alcohol (this may sound stupid) dehydrates you. Thats why drinking water and gatorade when you drinking alcohol helps with dampening the effects. plus for you if it was a 105 heat index that dehydrated you even more.

3 stages: 1. Young kids who brag about how much they drink. 2. Medium aged and/or insecure kids who get upset at step 1 kids. 3. Mature people who don't give a fuck cause who the hell cares it's just a fun thread. Looks like you're in stage 2 right now

Also... You know you're getting old when you wake up in the morning and feel awful without even drinking or having any fun the night prior...

well i cant argue with that. to be fair i just got back from getting my wisdom teeth pulled and im in a bit of a shit mood.

i vowed to only drink until i'm in the "analytical drunk" stage, have broken it a few times but typically only for special occasions

And then you get to go to work where you actually have to think and process information...

I hate the multi day hangover. I have discovered a meal of corndogs, really cheep watery beer, and a few glasses of water to be the best cure for this.
