anyone out there have a broken pair of bindings with an intact toe? I broke one of the "wings" or whatever you call them, the part that releases side to side to keep your toe in place. I want to keep the bindings and skis available for a pair of beater skis but I'm not gonna buy new bindings for the skis, I've had them for 3 years and are beat to shit

Also is this a bad idea or is it even possible? having a different toe than heel?

Props for not crying about a broken binding and cursing them as the worst binding ever made.

Hope you can find a toepiece, i mean if your beater skis were perfect, that would be a problem.

I think the toughest part will be finding a shop that will mount them up for you. I was told by my local shop that bindings have to go through a quality test before they can mount them, and if the binding doesn't pass, they become liable. I don't know what a mismatched toe piece will do as far as that goes, but it might give the shop some problems when it comes to fitting on the jig.

With that being said, I've had some pretty janky bindings mounted that definitely did not pass the test. Usually it just takes the help of a pizza or a 6-pack along with your word saying that you won't sue them if you mangle yourself up.

I say go for it.

Ha thanks man, the bindings have served me well so there was no need to hate on them! and exactly, they're beater skis, they just need to stay on my feet

They are pretty old, DIN goes to 16 but I'm usually around 12-13.

I have a pair of broken head mojo 15s which are pretty much the same bindings that I broke a heel piece on but have two good nose pieces pm me
