essentially im failing reading, i have a D in math and my dad is pissed. he sez i cant ski this summer or play lacrosse if my grades dont get better. what should i do? i need ur help ns!!!
 
There is nothing you can do now cause it's way too late, but seriously, do maybe like 30 min of hw a night or something? How are you failing so badly is this HS or College? I'm in HS and I don't do shit and basically get all A's.
 
I'd start trying to sleep with your female teachers in exchange for marks.

I'm so pissed off that I never got to do that.

no but serously, if you're failing reading, you must be paying 0% attention in class. how the fuck can u fail that? try harder, seriously. and for math.. well yes it hard but ask for help, get a tutor etc.

but overall pay attention and just think about what she says. actually listen.
 
I'm probably going to fail the only class that I have to pass to graduate, but I'm not stressing. I just hope I can still go to UVM with having to take some summer school.

If you know what questions will be on your tests, leave yourself a voicemail with the answers, then use a earpiece during the test and dial your voicemail. It works really good if you keep your hood up everyday and are just the token sketchy kid in the back of the class that is generally assumed asleep half the time.
 
How did you get below a C in high school? I never did jack SHIT and still pulled As and Bs
 
Ya but he's in FUCKING EIGHTH GRADE. Get over it and stop saying you're getting "fucked over". If you can't get all A's in 8th grade you must not show up for class at all. It's easy.
 
sweet! yet another person who doesn't want to take responsibility. you're getting fucked over, or you fucked yourself over? high school (or middle school from what ive read in this thread) was pretty much the easiest thing ever. if you had actually done a bit of work earlier in the year you probably wouldn't be in this situation, but who knows, maybe you're reading teacher just hates you or something? right.

also, you should even be GRATEFUL you even have the opportunity to ski in the summer. i know a lot of people don't have that opportunity, and when you're in 8th grade you probably can't afford it yourself which means your dad is paying for it right? and then you go and complain about how hes not going to let you ski because you got bad grades? it is HIS money. thats all an assumption though. who knows, maybe you have a well paying job when you're in 8th grade?

just think a little before you complain about things you probably take for granted. and next year, try a bit harder in school, don't go on ns as much and get your work done.

ps. if your dad is still not going to let you ski, have a little talk with him. (if he is the one that pays for your summer skiing) let him know you're grateful that he has given you that opportunity. let him know you realize you screwed up in school and you're going to try harder next year. show him you can be mature about the situation and MAYBE just MAYBE he'll let you ski still.

on another note, school is also who sits at home and finds ways to cheat the best. seriously my buddy could be the best cheater known to man. he sits there and talks, stares at boobs, and texts people. then goes home and devises a master plan on how to cheat. like he gets A's and a few B's and does absolutely nothing.

all you have to do is pay attention in class...that's all i do. pay attention and i really do no homework or anything outside of school and pull mostly A's and a few B's. and that's only for hard classes. other you can sit there and beat off the whole class and pass with a fucking A. how the fuck are you failing reading dude?

you could ask your teacher if you can make up assignments for partial credit, it's only 8th grade so it'll probably fly with the teacher. This probably means a bunch of reading a writing,

which is probably gona be hard for you considering you're failing engish. If you can, take a summer class, at least it might apease your dad so you can go skiing.
