beatboxing depends on if you have the right tools. dont do it if all ur using is a mac with gargeband or something like that...but if ur using real mixers, turn tables, etc then definately drop a beat....my bro and i are having a techno rave at our school and were mixing all our own shit...but it definately depends on the software ur using
 
Play the raver's fantasy, but a little faster than normal. It is seriously the most orgasmic sound when its sped up. Other than that play some hyphy shit, i dont know but that gets me goin dumb as fuck at dances.
 
u need some illa hyphy music deff. play liek hiphop by dead prez or soem shiut people might liekthat too. id stick with dank underground hiphop. ifu knwo that shit and then dank techno. i dont knwo much techno but if u want hiphop shit let me knwo. jsut play leik all andrenikitina. hahah and make sure everyone is rolling

At school dances a HUGE majority will only enjoy dancing to music that everyone knows, has a good beat, and that they can sing too(except sandstorm). They expect to be able to make requests and listen to popular music that they would hear on the radio, which most people on here don't like.
 
i hate to say it but you gotta play music EVERYONE knows. or else people will be pissed. unless its a crunk beat

ahaha sorry if that sounded harsh man... but yea everyone is right here... this IS for a highschool dance where most people listen to popular music, but you can mix some good shit in there with it too. but the techno songs i gave you will be good, just dont play like only one type of music cause then everyone will hate you... i like to split my nights up into what im playing for example play like only like mainstream for half an hour then go to something like hard rap shit for another half hour then go to like electro etc. then people will remember that you were playing good songs for a pretty long time... it takes practice but you can tell by the people if there havin a good time or not and if there not just switch it up.
 
despite my undying love for good hip-hop, only "popular" music and hyphy shit will pass at a dance. i mean who the hell wants to dance to led zeppelin? (or how can you physically pull it off?)
