i've just been accepted as a rotary international exchange student and am going to live in austria for a year! i'm so psyched for it! please tell me everything an american may find interesting or need to know. i'm gonna start learning german asap

eat with fork knife and spoon, thats everything ya need to know!

why is 11-1-04 the sadest day in skiing

learning german is the most important thing you need to know. but the most important german phrase you need is "ein halbe bite" a half litre of beer. or "ein grosses bier bite" just about every thing is rediculously expencive, most people only like ot ski the crusers and a little pow. and most importantly just be prepard that your host family might not be too outwardly kind and outgoing. and if you dont get on well with them dont wait to change the family. and you are lucky to be coming with rotary and not afs. let me know when you get here. and where you will be staying. im leaving for home at the end of january, back to the rockies. fuck yeah.

i'll be leaving sometime this coming summer (most likely late july, early august). haha thanks for the phrases, that's where i'll start with learning. i'm gonna try to work as much as possible to have spending money while i'm there. i'm not sure where in austria i'll be living yet but i'll let you know when i find out

it depends on where you get but Aut is sick! You can have a lot of good skiing and you just need to get to know the "good people"

And gettin dope is quite difficult at the moment!+

by good people i think that he means either the newschoolers or the dope dealers. haha and finding the green isnt dificult they just dont know who to talk to. so haha, austria is too much fun. legal to drink leagal to smoke and you can posses a gram of weed with out any problems. the bars are allways bitchin places where they dont ask for id and surv anything beter start practicing now. peace out
