I'm a big kid and I never see big kids in the park. I'm not horrible at park but I'm not sure how to go about getting better. Any tips?

"Big". Lol please be more vague.

I'm going to take the quick route and assume you are a fat kid.

In that case, look at Noah Curry for inspiration

Just get out an have fun! big tall skinny small it doesn't matter! But defiantly noah curry for some big boy love and Tall tim for some tall kid!

years ago I met this guy who was straight up a NFL kinda build and he killed it. cork 9 grabs with style and the like.

I think there's a big difference between being 'big' and being 'fat'. As long as your strong and in some shape, you can be a tall, 250lb dude and still kill it. Now, if you're just fat and out of shape, you'll probably really suck and just hurt yourself... so don't be fat and out of shape - it's pretty much the main downfall of the first world.

Just ski more, lose weight, learn more tricks, lose more weight, future spins --> pro

As a large person myself, I can tell you this, It's going to be a long road to stardom. However, you have an advantage, us big kids are immune to pain because of our stature, there for, falling isn't as big of a deal. When I figured this out, I started getting better at park. Just convince yourself you are invincible to getting hurt. Spinning is going to be slower, that is inevitable. I finally learned to spin when I was 18, after 4 season of skiing constant park. Rail will be your best friend. Look at Eheath, he's a big dude, but he can still kill a rail. You're going to be three swapping, but people will be impressed when you can swap and spin off down rails.
But when it's all said and done, you will realize that big dudes aren't meant to be park rats. You will move out west and start skiing real mountain and real terrain, where the big men thrive. Skiing powder, gnarley chutes, and dropping fatty cliffs will be your calling, I guarentee it.

I would also recommend this as a long term goal! Don't get stuck in the "fat kid mentality" where in you accept your current size. There is so much you can gain (not a fat joke) from a long term goal like losing weight. Just my advice but you can do what ever you want.

As other have said, look at Noah Curry or other big skiers for inspiration. Don't let your body get in the way of the things you love.
