IL MORO vs. RAMPAGE

looking at these two boots, i currently have the 08 model of the rampage (white/chocolate) and looking to get new ones over the Holidays...i was told the I.D. Liner in the IL MORO is pretty dope but im looking at these two, since i get %% off dalbello so please refrain from offering another type of boot. i've loved my rampages but my toes also get cold quick and thought the I.D. might be the way to go. Also, is the upper shin strap/buckle on the I.D. much diferent from the actual metal buckle on the rampage + the shin strap?

the il moro is like the rampage, but more stiffer, warmer, and more comfy with the ID liner, the shin strap is soo dope too!

I was planning on making this thread. How about the krypton cross? I can't find either of those in a shop but I found these. Actually, do all the boots fit pretty similarly? I think the il moro's are better.

I have Rampages from a few years ago with the stiff and soft tongues and Pro ID liners, it's the best.

The iL Moro & Pro are great boots, ID liners are seriously the best!

The Kross is a really underrated boot, i have never seen a single person get them and not love them.

If I could get the new Il moros for the same price as last years krypton croses, I should go Il Moro's?

And sorry for the slight thread jack OP, but to answer your question, I think the ID liners would be best. After doing some reading on there site and some other places i seems that way.

From Highest performance to lowest

Krypton Pro

Tanner Hall

Il Moro

Cross

Rampage

get the Il moros or Tanners. the top strap buckle is the shit. Allows for way better feeling flex that can be somewhat tuned by how tight you get it. the ID liner is no questions asked, the way to go. (they suck when they arent molded though, so dont let that fool you if you try them on new/cold). Tanners are essentially Pros with the IlMoro upper cuff, the Il Moros are a slightly softer shell, but get decently stiff with the extra tongue.

Crosses and Rampages are the same shell, slightly stiffer lower material than the Il Moro, softer than the Tanners/Pros. the liner is a stiffer foam in the Crosses. they were my first Krypton boot, and i really didnt like them. too stiff, no flex.

If your riding more aggressive terrain, go tanners, the extra stiffness will help. if your doing more jibbing, the ilmoros will flex super deep when setup right, and are awesome park boots that can still rip.
