Il Moro T top buckle

So I got new boots this year, Dalbello Il Moro Ts, and I really like how they fit but even with the top buckle (the snowboard style buckle) tightened all the way, theres still some room for my shin to move and it's resulting in nasty shin bang.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

you could make the padding tighter by making holes in the back where the spoiler is. you could just take it to your local shop to see if they can do it or get advice on how to change it
