IF3 Whistler Blackcomb

Hey everyone,

As you may have heard, iF3 is coming to Whistler for the first time ever on October 11th and 12th (in conjunction with Whistler Blackcomb and alongside the Turkey Sale), so I wanted to pop in here and give everyone the scoop since I'm helping organize the event, the schedule has been finalized, and tickets are now officially on sale.

There's going to be eight movies (from Sherpas Cinema, Level 1 Productions, Field Productions, Poor Boyz Productions, Sweetgrass Productions, Stept Productions, Legs of Steel and Norseman Productions) and a handful of webisodes premiered at Millennium Place, along with three parties (a pre-party at McCoos Too, a retro ski party at Longhorn and a rocker party at Garfinkels) and a couple of autograph signings at the Turkey Sale.

Just wanted to say how stoked I am that you guys are giving the west another try after how big of a bust if3 vancouver was. I hope you will get a much bigger turnout this time. And im sure you will
 
I loved it when it was in Vancouver and should work even better in Whistler. Stoked and see you guys there!!
 
I hope so too! And as a result of how big of a bust iF3 Vancouver was (which I'm still bummed about), we really want and need people's support for this event, because we'd like for this to be the first of many iF3 Whistler Blackcomb's, and we won't be able to do it without that support. So come one come all! :)

 
I am doing my best to get the time off work to come down from Fort St John for this. Ridiculously excited.

A little update for you...

Presentation 1 (Sherpas Cinema's Into The Mind) is completely sold out, but there's still some tickets left for Presentations 2, 3 and 4, however if you're looking to come, I would strongly suggest buying tickets online asap (as opposed to waiting to buy them at the door) before it's too late. Also, be sure to come kick off the Festival with us at the Orage Pre-Party at McCoo's Too from 6:30pm - 8pm on Friday, as there'll be drinks, a Neglin tournament and door prizes from Orage and Hit Case, including 5 $100 bar tabs for the Retro Ski Party later that night at the Longhorn.
