this is like the 2nd thread i've made about this but i just finished listening to both of the albums i can officially say they are both pretty sucky. kanye's is just a little bit better, his has like 3 or 4 songs i like, and 50's has only 1. way to go, months of hype led up to a whole bunch of nothing. if you've listend to both, or even just one. post in here your thoughts
 
Ya i am going to say that i like kanyes just a little better. but ya i was disappointed with both of them. but i do like the 50 and akon song.

 
well you've immediatly judged the kind of music i listen to without knowing a thing about me. the only reason i DL them was because of the huge hype around it. i actually have a much broader music selection than you could imageine
 
I enjoy listening to kanyes. I dont really give a fuck how mainstream or core hip-hop it is or isnt, its a fun album to listen to, and thus, I like it.
 
i've listened to kanye's. and there is a couple of good songs, not as many as expected though. his first album, IMO, was full of good songs, i don't think i didnt like one song on it. everything i am is dope though
 
I haven't heard the whole Grad album, but from what I have heard, it's what I expected. Beats with tons of samples, decent production that's pretty typical with Kanye, intelligent rhymes, but way to self-centered. If you like Kanye, you'll probably be happy with this.
 
graduation is so crumby.

barry bonds is the only good song, via lil wayne

and i dont plan on coming close to curtis. 50 went downhill after in da club
 
i personally feel graduation was a huge letdown. College Dropout and Late Registration were both classics to me, and Graduation is good but just no where near his first 2, and i dont even need to hear curtis to know that it sucks.
 
im just glad kanye didnt put like 30 skits on it like his previous, champion is a sick song. 50 has a few hits in there but to compare the both is LUDACRIS (remix therapy out now). Kanye has better beats but some of the lyrics ruin the songs but 50 has some good lyrics and horrible beats.. to sum it up, i appreciate both but the flow just isnt there..
 
curtis is pathetic, how can 50 release that shit with a straight face, let alone put his career on the line for it. its the same uninspired, played out sound hes been putting out for years. As for Kanye's, I like it. It's definately a guilty pleasure though cause the music itself is pretty weak. i'm more drawn to the cult of Kanye. I mean, the guy comes off being so arrogant. you know he bangs mo' bitches in a month than most of us get in our lives. thats why i like listening to it. My favorite song "Barry Bonds" ft. Lil Wayne might be the worst song on the album just cause the lyricism is so fuckn lazy. their basically saying we dont even need to put out an effort to get you to like this. and if it was anyone else i prolly wouldnt like it. maybe my logics a little construed.
 
curtis is fucking horrible, every single song is about bullets. somebody shoot him again and finish the job, jesus. 
 
both arent good, kanye is way gayer though. He fricken said the reason he didnt go first at the VMA'S is because hes black, BEING SERIOUS NOT JOKING. How cocky and lame do u get.....
 
i really feel as though graduation sucks. and it's very frustrating because the media is making kanye out to be some kind of hero, like he doesn't degrade women in his songs and shit. it's weak.

curtis isn't very good either, there's a LOT of songs about uhm

...guns...and shooting them...but there's a few bangers here and there, which is more than i can say for kanyes.

 
i dont really like any of kanyes solo songs on his album. but i do like the one with t pain, the one with lil wayne, the one with mos def, and im in love with the one with chris martin.
 
i liked graduation, not as much as his other albums but I still thought it was good.

as for 50 it's not really as good, but I must admit i like 'ayo tech' and 'i get money' goes off.
