well i live in pittsburgh. we dont get much snow. but today we got about 4 inches. i shoveled and made a little jump for my rail. the problem is that its a kinda champaigne type of snow today and doesnt pack well.

does anyone know any methods to make it all ice or atleast very durable?

water and i kno u would think this is weird but put some salt on top and it makes the snow hard and stay, but i kno some mountains do it

YEP, during +0C temps water is not the solution salt is, when temps drop below zero (i usually do this when night comes) sprinkle water and it should be nice and solid in the morning,

I live right outside Pittsburgh and the new snow is hella light. I always use water or fertilizer. Water works super fast. My jump is literally sold ice now but that how i like i because it last longer.

Water works great i just did it last night so dont listen to the uneducated people who said it works in the spring so give it a try and let it sit overnight

HO. LY. FUCK. SHUT. UP!
