If you killed someone, would you sue their family?

The family is suing the cop because he shot their son who attacked him with a baseball bat and tried to kill him. Now as you know this is what is called a "deadly weapon" and if the facts are even remotely correct then the shooting was justified. If you wanted to create a shit storm anti-cop thread why not post about the 46 Dept. of Corrections officers arrested in Georgia by the FBI.

2/10 shit trolling attempt.

doesn't matter that it was justified, it's his job. This is equivalent to a doctor suing the family of a patient who died on the operating table.

It actually isn't equivalent. Effort was there though, so good try.

in short, no.

reminds me of when a lady hit and killed a teenager(s) on his bike and tried to sue the family for emotional damages.

From what I understand about that suit, it was more of a way for the officer to get his side of the story out that the kid was actually much closer than initially reported and actively swinging the bat.

Personally, from what I read so far, I agree more so with the version of events from the family.

Im suing newschoolers because somebody sent me s hate pm. 10mil or get the fuck out.

It gave me emotional trauma. JK, Im emotionally void
