alright, so confused on where I'm supposed to post this, so Imma jus post this here.
SO!.. there's this girl that I met at my local hill, she was a lift attendant, and she asked one of my friends who got on the lift behind me, and told him that she thinks I'm cute. Anyway, we end up talking and things are going good, little flirtin, told me herself that she thinks I'm cute, and that she's 'attracted' to me. Then after maybe a week of talking to her and hanging out at the closing day of my local hill for this year, we decide that we're gonna hang out that Friday, then on the day before, she starts asking me questions about whether or not I'm the kind of guy that makes moves the first time we hang out, so I respond in the least douchebaggery way I can think of and just gave an honest answer kinda hinting at I would if she wants to. Than she tells me she's not looking for a relationship right now, and I'm thinking I'm cool with that if she just wants to have a thing, but no, she basically flat out told me that she doesn't want to do anything like that. So we hung out that Friday, and although it was really fun, we were just hangin out as friends, and I got as far as a goodbye hug. Now every time we text, every time there's even a hint of flirting she basically shuts down and sends texts that are barely more than one word texts.
So my question is, should I wait it out and stay friends for a while and see if things change, or should I just assume she's not going to change at least for a very long time and move on

I'd drop her as it sounds like you're being friend-zoned, bro. the only way back is if you ignore her (not completely, but close enough. like don't text her for a bit) and then maybe down the road things will work out if she's not completely retarded and you play it right. best way of figuring out right now is by getting her drunk with some friends and seeing where things goes. she sounds like you typical teenage girl, but who am i to judge.
