If you could collect one thing, what would it be?

Also, maybe you should define something you collect. Is it something that is meant to be had but not used (IE toys in original boxes/comics in bags/video game systems you can't use) or can you actually use them?

I'd also say a car collection, but looking at the above post of the Ralph Lauren collection, lots of car collectors collect cars that are never meant to be used. Sounds fucking retarded if you ask me. If I can't drive it, why fucking have it. Some people are such snoots. "Oh and here's my 63 Ferrari 250...paid 35 million for it..." fuck that. Glad people are out there to give their money away for stupid shit, but it's just frustrating. Almost as irritating as that guy that merges onto the freeway going 15MPH under the speed of traffic in his Porsche

goat seamen

whats so cool with having a goat seamen. Goats don't make very good seamen, they are landlubbers although this painting would say otherwise

unfortunately a new porsche will lose it's value very quickly. also, you can't wear $150k on your wrist if you use it as a down payment.

this one will run you ~$760k

I don't get how the fuck people can spend 760k on a watch like its nothing and I'm here hoping I can get a car for 2k.

I work at Target and needed to buy watch so after I got off work I went to see what we had for watches and they were like $15. I was so outraged at the price I drive to Wal-Mart still in my work cloths with my Name Tag on reading Target and bought a watch for $5. 4 years later it still works perfect.

Casino poker chips. Every casino I go to I take a $1 chip with me. I'm up to about 13 at this point and it's just a fun way to track where you've been.

this isn't even his most expensive. there's a Richard Mille watch that goes for something like $1.65mil

Alternatively, you can't live in a fucking watch.

but if you have a watch on that cost $150k, i think it's safe to say you probably have a permanent place of residence

I adore the perfect proportions and the restraint that went into the design but so many people lose their dicks over it it has lost a significant amount of appeal for me.

Nothing on you but Richard Mille is pleb tier in haute horlogerie, no heritage and no pride, it's laughable how people can call them "stealthy, unobtrusive and not an attention grabber" when they are the size of a Smart car. Yes the movement is quite nice but it's made by AP and it's nowhere near worth the pricetag if you compare it to the Patek 5970. They are imo also quite ugly and busy, they remind me of a tuned Honda Civic in terms of styling. They have a good marketing team and people buy them because they are expensive "so they ought to be better!" but they aren't.

People can do with their money what they want, buying a RM imo is a big waste. For that price I'd much rather buy the ref. 4113 Rolex chronograph.

right, if i had the money i wouldn't buy into richard mille either. i'd much rather go for a vintage rolex or something made by patek or a. lange & sohne. it was merely an example of how in terms of ultra high-end watches, $150k isn't all that crazy.
