If reality TV has become more scripted does that mean tv has come full circle?

Reality shows came about because they are cheaper to produce and the derpizens of TV land dig that shit. Many "reality" shows are clearly scripted so is it like we're getting back to scripted shows that look like reality and thus TV has made a loop.

TV still sucks, except for duck dynasty.
