Any of the Epic Resorts, so you can ski all the other ones for free.

Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, A Basin, Keystone. Not mentioning california. but to live in Eagle or Summit county with an Epic pass, its less than an hour between 5 resorts you can ski for free.

Lived in whistler for 7 years with a free pass year round. Was rad.

Only place I would change for is probably Revy

Hell no, the skiing is pretty good, that is when the wind hasn't wrecked everything. However the towns are all terrible in each their own way.

For a larger area, I would say live in Innsbruck and have the Tiroler pass. For a smaller area I would say Zillertal Arena, so much BC, and Penken Park!
