Idle timer?

Today i noticed that a friend was on ns and 'idle for 0 minutes' but they had been idle on an instant messaging program. They continued to be 'online and idle for 0 minutes' on ns for like an hour...also, Some of the names under my friends list dont show up in the 'online' list with all the people directly below it. Whats going on?

I know when you sign on, it takes a while to show up on the huge online list. cuz sometimes I'll sign on, and then my name will show up on the list like 5 minutes later

idk iv been pretty much checking it hardcore all day and the same people are on my friends list but arent online. GLITCH!

same here... like it says half of my friends list is on and has been idle for 0 minutes, but i know for a fact that their not online. and haven't been in hours. yoo.. moderators... what is this?

It's true, though. All the friends that have been online this evening and have long since been gone are still on my friends list and idle at zero.

Just because your friends are idle on an instant messenger doesnt mean they're idle on NS.

It is pretty glitchy and doesnt seem to ever work though.

I can appear "away" on msn and be active on my computer...

not away.. "idle" Like.. You appear idle when you havent touched a key or moved a mouse or made a click in the last like 10-20 minutes.

yeah for msn it makes you go "away" when your idle

yea same thing happend on my computer. showed them activly on ns for 0 minutes being idle while on their aim they were away and idle for a good 2 hours
