Ideas for a new ski clothing company

So Me and some people are starting a new clothing company that is devoted to the Skier community. We are trying to come up with a good name for the company. If you have any Ideas please throw them out there. We want to make Shirts and sweatshirts that would be like 686 or foursquare but for the Skiing community. Any feedback would help, like what you would want on a shirt or something that you have not seen. Unless its negative cause personally I don't like negative nancies! Thanks guys!
 
Hell I'll give you a free shirt. My pops owns a shirt making company thats why it would be so easy I just got to figure out the company name and some designs that people would like to see. But anything you guys would want on a shirt?
 
Ha its funny you bring up steez we were thinking steezwear but we all could not agree but keep the ideas coming.
 
dude i'm working on the same thing.... coming up with a name is difficult.

but really, most ski clothing companies have random names. You can always just use 2 or 3 letters, like some skateboarding compaines. ex: es, DGK, DC..... i've got a few ideas of my own, but if i figure out whitch one im using ill tell you the other ones.

i still think lui kang outerwear would be dope... just came up with it haha
 
Yea the name is so hard to think of. But we got a couple ideas like one word names. ex: Shifty Clothing or Tweak, Daffy. Something along those lines. But if you think about it like where did the name Salomon come from or Saga. Seriously how do you come up with that.
 
How can you call this your company if you are asking newschoolers to name it for you and think of all your designs?

Put some actual thought and work into this it you really want to make it happen.
 
they just thuoght of random shit and made it. honestly look around in nature or in yourself or in something you all like and pick some random, but meaningful-ish name.

looking around my room i see hella random shit, then just add like a legit title to end

Hey what did I say about Negative Nancies? Im trying to do some research and see what people would like. I think big companies do that to. But maybe Im more stupid then you are. NO SHIRT FOR YOU!
 
Thanks for all the ideas guys. I think were still worken on it but also I think we might use some ideas for t-shirts. Like I.A.E.B.S. Maybe that on the front and discription on the back but if I use your idea I will def let you know. This might take a while to get the shirts designed and printed and stuff but ill post some pics on here once we get figure out everything. And I would def be willing to sell them on here to everyone. (IF NS HAS NO PROB WITH IT)
 
If you don't have the creativity to think of a name for your company then how are you gonna churn out line after line each year? He knew what he was talking about since he is someone who actually did create his own company and got his product out there. Not trying to be negative but you have a lot of work ahead of you.
 
As for clothing ideas

water resistant/windproof cheap hoodies. I live for that shit. seriously, i hate two Oakley Sweatshirts because they have DWR coatings and were on SAC for really cheap. Unfortunatly, they arent wind resistant.

So basically, make so good water/wind resistant sweatshirts for a low price with some nice stuff, not really flashy or graphic, i would buy tons of your shit and so would lots of other people

What do i win?!?! i really like ECS btw, it flows well
 
You guys need to make mad tall tees! and pretty cheap. lagit graphics to. make shit kinda like jiberish. and for a name... STEEZZE THREADS
 
since its like mainly for skiers, what about something like B4B, standing for before boarders. i think it sounds cool and its got a cool idea considering skiing has been around so long before snowboarders
 
or continuing wiht my last one, maybe even just B4 outerwearing, meaning like before snowboarders there were skiers. idk, it can be interpreted differently. i like that one though
 
for the design. Something like a A- frame box going across then a skier doing down it with your companies name on his skis/shirt. or like the sequences of people doing a 10.
 
If you can't think of your own ideas the company will fail. You might get 50 people that reply to this thread and they will say they'd buy a certain design but when it comes down to it most of them will back out because their 12 and don't have their own money.Do research on your target market and what kind of company you want to have. Saying you want to start a skier clothing company doesn't mean shit. Espcially if you have a name like steeze or afterbang or another played out name. There are few ski clothing companies that are doing ok right now and I can guarentee you that they didn't come to newschoolers and have them decide their company for them.
 
I realize that I need to original in the making of my company but am I not aloud to do research for a Ski clothing company on a HUGE ski networking community? It makes since to me. I have ton of ideas (that are my own) but can I not listen to others and get an idea of what they are looking for in clothing? This company was thought up TODAY we have not even figured stuff out yet or even if it would work. I just wanted to see if there was a big enough demand for it. I hope this works cause I think it is a good idea. And I am willing to bet that when people started there own companies whatever it may be, they prob ran the idea by others, to see what they thought.
 
me and a buddy were high as fuck and were lookin for easy cash so we started a shirt company named finén (donno what it means to this day but it sounds cool)
so my proposal is get reeeeealy high and start making noises with your mouth maybe itl sound cool
 
No hate or anything man, but the thing is is that you dont even have any ideas to run by people. Your asking people for everything, do some work yourself and you will succede more.
 
This clothing company is run by skiers for skiers so this is now the name of our company

thats gold right there
