Icon not working

dont say searchbar, i tried

whatever i do ns will not let me change my icon. i have made it a 50x50, tried a different browser, just about everything, and no matter what it says it uploads but doesn't work

if it's bigger than 8kb it won't work. I had the same issue and it was becasue it was close to 8kb when I saved it but when I actually went into properties it was just a little over 8kb. Just try to reduce quality a bit should get it under 8kb. Also the icon I have now I uploaded it once and I gave up trying but about a month later it just popped up.

I usually just use Photoshop and play with the quality levels till I see something that's decent to look at and still under 7.44kb. I've found I have had to scrap a few icons as they just couldn't look good under 8kb, but that's usually just really long gifs.

If you have a jpeg use a gif for a new one. If you have a gif use a jpeg.

That was an issue on here at one point. IDk, haven't changed my icon in years but worth a shot.
