i made a thread of this in gear talk and didnt get any responsesso i am bringing it to SG. i am looking for some new skis by the end of the year and was at Revolver the other day and reminded me about Icelantics. was looking at the Danollies and was wondering if any of you have them or have riden a pair and what you think about them. are they light. flexie, poppy, anything about them. Go for it.

notice how he said that he got no response in gear talk so for more attention he brought it to SG

anyways i hope you get some info on em. they seem like nice skis but never seen or riden one

Overall

Only bad things I have to say would be the 1. Lack of longer sizes2. Getting a little softer over time3. The bases needed a little more attention than park skis I have had in the past. they were not slow or anything but seemed to dry out quicker than my other skis.

Performance

These skis can rail groomers straight to the park and then dominate in the park. Light and symmetrical they kill almost all aspects from jumps to rails. I found them to be a very good ski for doing everything in the park. Rails where a breeze and keeping composure in the air was a piece of cake. Out of the park they held up decently. They got bucked around by crud a little and dive like submarines in deeper snow but if you are a stronger skier than you can easily handle it. For people who ski over 70% park this would be the only ski you need. They also carved surprisingly well (almost felt like GS skis for the first week I had them until the edges dulled).

Design

Best graphics I have ever had on a ski. I never buy things based on look but these are beautiful which is also the case with most Icelantic Designs.

Specs: are size 180 118-88-1186.52lbs20m radius

Value

Got them on Proform so I felt very fortunate. Would have had no problem spending full price on them.

Fit

I wish they came in a 185 0r 186 but the 180 gave me all the length I needed for park.

Characteristics

When I first got these skis they came out as a medium to stiffer flex. By the end of the season I would have to consider them a more Medium Soft flex. They definitely broke in a little. The flex is nice and even, you don't wash out on any jumps under 50 feet and you could also butter very well. I love my stiff skis but these added a nice change to my quiver.

Durability

At the end of long season with abuse from both park, rocks, and ski instructing the only thing wrong with them is minor topsheet chipping and one edge crack. I was on these skis more than any other ski in my quiver this year due to our crappy snow year and they held up amazingly

I have shamans

fukin sik...

I can't tell you anything about the danollies but I can tell you that all there skis come with a 2 year warranty and there pretty legit about it

the icelantics 2011 da nollie look so freshthere graphics r unrealim going for them this season.great pop snappy response its a great all around ski in the park and groomers.
I have heard that the ski is really reponsive and has a great side wall for rails. on jmps they stand out. Not flexible enough to wash out on any size jump.
all around solid ski

I demoed a pair of 2011 Da'Nollies for a few days this summer. To be quite honest, I'm not a huge fan of the graphics..the light blue and burgundy color mix looks rather odd if you ask me. But that doesn't really matter. As for performance, they were really fun to ride. Pretty soft skis, though, so keep that in mind.

Dunno how much you know but their pretty much icelantic's answer to the rocker, its not a total pow ski cause it still has some camber underfoot and then 30cm of tip/tail rocker and from what I'v heard and seen its quite stiff
