Do they ride well in the park or jumps or anything or is it just a powder ski thats good on groomers??

+kk

I,m pretty sure it is just a powder/groomer slayer and it sounds amazing but if you are planning on doing other things such as park then I would say look into the nomads! They to are a sick ski!!!!!

The Shamans rip in the park. It might not seem like it but they really do. You can carve like crazy coming into the lips of jumps if you want and the width provides a very wide landing base. Even rails aren't too bad. The swing weight gets a little weird depending on where they are mounted (mounted back on the recommended line they have very small tails and long noses but just moving +3 cm from there enhances the performance greatly for park) but overall they are really fun skis for anything. Nomads are really fun as well. They are probably a little more versatile just because they are a more traditional shape. I have gone through a couple pairs mounted dead center and used them as my park/all mountain ski and they were great. I haven't skied the new soft nomads but I'm sure they would be even better to play around on. The Shamans were my first Icelantic ski though and I still love them. One of my favorite skis of all time.

I think that they wont do all that well in park..if you are skiing park a good portion of your time on the hill I would go with something with a more traditional shape. They are kind of heavy too.. which can be good in the park but i just think you would have more fun on ski with a more proportional tip and tail for landing and skiing backwards.
