I have the option of purchasing the 2013 model, and I'm curious to know what you guys thought of it? Specifically how they handle in pow and crud, compared to carving mid-season groomers. Also did you find them to be durable if you took them through the park? Thanks

I don't ride them. But a good friend of mine has a pair and absolutely loved them.

Good for pretty much anywhere on the mountain. They rode pretty damp, still got some spring, but not a noodle by any means. Very stable but not sluggish. Quick enough for the trees, solid float for pow/crud. He was super satisfied with their performance all over the mountain. No park laps, but considering clipping trees and knicking rocks was pretty norm I'd say the durability is pretty good.

Given it's more playful profile since the first models, and that the current dimensions look less directional I'd imagine factory recommended might be fine. But if you're riding more park maybe scoot up a ~1 cm.

The old recommended mount might be 4-5 cm back? Not sure. Haven't checked specs.
