Icelantic nomad 95

I’m probably going to get icelantic nomad 95s, but wondering about the flex if anyone has rode them. I like them because they make 191cm but I want to know if I can land a little backseat on a jump and be ok.

I saw it in a store a couple days ago, from hand flexing it felt really soft. I personally haven’t ridden them tho. The graphics looked really cheap tho and bad quality from in person. I can’t really judge their performance tho, I have heard a lot of good things about it tho.

They are a very soft ski but will be fine for smaller jumps, if ur hitting bigger jumps might want to go for something more cambered/stiffer. Build quality is really good, probably some of the most durable skis u can get

They did a roofbox review on them a few weeks back, I'd check it out.

yeah but they didn't seem to be doing anything big so just wanted to check with the people. Thanks though

You’ll be fine on them. I rode the 181s a few years back and I’m 6’ 155lbs. They are one of the funnest skis I’ve been on. They still handled park city jumps.

Thanks for giving me a reason to watch that edit again.

I loved the Nomads. I demo’d this years model at the end of last season. I think they’ll be exactly what you’re looking for. I’m 160 and they were super responsive and I felt comfortable riding switch on them right away.

That’s good to hear. The only thing I’m worrying about is I want to progress on jumps as well, and like rails and jumps equally. So will the nomads be able to hold up on big jumps?

Been riding them for awhile they don’t hold up as good as they used to still a very fun ski you will be fine on jumps. The 105 is a tad stiffer than the 95 fyi

Depends on your weight and what you consider to be a “big jump” lmk
