Ice Coast Blows

I grew up skiing on a 300 ft landfill hill on the midwest and even that was better than "premier" east coast resorts. They charge the GDP of Uzbekistan for a lift ticket, sketchy jump takeoffs, runs are sheets of glazed ice and the majority of people on the hill are gapers talking about how they just saw Patrick Demsey. At least weed is legal.

As a wise man once said, "It's not steep and deep, It's east coast hardcore real stuff"

I ski a 50 acre hill in Pennsylania. If you really like skiing you can make fun out of what ya got

I mean it's not that bad. Although it'd be nice if it actually snowed then wasn't 60F and raining the next day.

The better question is where did you ski that you're basing this statement on? Cuz I skied for $53 day ticket in 2 ft of snow last HOLIDAY weekend.

I skied at Sugarloaf, part of a school group.

What you're basically saying is "I'm not good enough to ride a bigger mountain in less than perfect conditions."

it sounds like you're basing this opinion on one trip. is that true? basing ideas on one data point is never a good idea but especially in skiing. the good eastern resorts can range from brutal ice rinks on a bad day to AMAZING skiing on a good day.

Second this, had one of my best days ever at MRG last year but that mountain can kick your ass in bad conditions.

Lolol the "premier" parks in the northeast rival any parks anywhere honestly. And the east coast has way better snow than your midwest resort.

Something tells me you went to some ghetto sea level mtn for night skiing.

east coast has that too, OP is confused and disorientated

Also have to add....the worst most icy day at any decent place in VT is light-years better than a 300' vertical hill unless you're a pussy with dull edges

Colorado on a good snow year makes an east coast 100$ lift ticket look like a collosal ripoff.

Being 10,000 feet in summit county

Surrounded by 14ers just makes the

Experience way better than ice coast.

I had a really fun week at my friends ski house in hidden valley when i was younger. They had alot of snow so it was really pretty and comfy. Still it doesnt compare to being 13 thousand feet up at breck or a basin.

it sucks dick here, we are worse at skiing than our western counterparts, and it keeps getting worse every year.

long story short, that's why I ski park lmao
