Ibook with final cut express and 3d s max

Im looking to buy and Ibook laptop this fall and i need advice. are ibooks good? if i get one, which programs should i get for video editing and 3d rendering? someone please help. Send me sumthing at wisdomrider1440@msn.com

if your gonna do 3d and video editing, u DONT want a ibook, trust me ive had one. Just get the powerbook, even the new g4 ibook wont suffice for that

its just a question of what can you deal with. how little of a pain in the ass do you want it to be. i'm doing my video editing on my 2001 G3 power book and i'm not cryin my eyes out. look, you're gonna coming at it from a beginners standpoint? then you don't need the G5 terminator set up. ibook wont be amazing but it certainly will get you by. you need to buy an external hard drive too: www.lacie.com

new final cut pro doesn't run on g3's which are all ibooks besides this years. i'd suggest just getting a g3 and running adobe premier if you want a pro edittin program. it'll save you a lot of cash. go to www.smalldog.com
