Apparently these pep rally things are normal for like every walmart. I walked into a walmart right when it opened and they were all huddled around in a circle and there was a guy on a ladder in the middle yelling so I booked it out of there. Like a fucking cult or something
 
When I worked at Albertsons we'd have to huddle up right before the evening rush and get a pep-talk from our manager, then break the huddle with some corny ass cheer.. That was a miserable job.
 
laugh now, but that guy in the middle is probably a store manager, and walmart store managers get 150k/year minimum with a corporate car and 20% shared corporate private jet rights.

What about the 24-HR walmarts? they dont have time for pep rallys cus they are always open...

I always assumed the NS offices opening every day was a bit like opening the stock market. Lots of people, fanfare, etc.

I would hate doing that. We do the Gate A huddle, but that's a joke thing usually done for a laugh, or if there's actually some news or something we all need to be made aware of before we get rolling.
